CHANGES TO THE CHEVROLET LINEUP FOR 2023
Chevrolet is always looking for new, innovative ways to improve their vehicles for modern consumers. For the new model year, Chevrolet has introduced changes for various models that are sure to please.
CHEVROLET CARS
The all-new Corvette Z06 has been confirmed as an available 2023 model for car enthusiasts to take advantage of. This impressive performance car promises remarkable power with 670 horsepower to get you from 0-97km/h in just 2.6 seconds. Next, the Camaro and Malibu stay mostly the same, with a few exterior paint colour swaps and other minor changes. Lastly, the Chevrolet Spark has been discontinued for 2023.
CHEVROLET SUVS
The Chevrolet Blazer has received a mid-cycle refresh for the new model year. It now sports a restyled front end, new wheel designs, an upgraded infotainment system, new paint colours, and reworked taillights. The 2024 Blazer EV has also been announced, sporting a completely different look and powertrain. Next, the Chevrolet Equinox received a new turbocharged 1.5-litre engine, delivering slightly more horsepower than the outgoing 1.5-litre powerhouse. The Suburban and Tahoe models both benefit from the addition of GM’s Super Cruise driver-assist system, as well as colour swaps and other minor changes.
CHEVROLET TRUCKS
The Silverado 1500 receives a few significant changes with the addition of a new turbo-diesel 3.0-litre inline-six engine. This engine produces 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque, replacing the outgoing diesel 3.0-litre inline-six. The ZR2 Bison model also gets some rugged updates for better off-road capability. Next, the Colorado also gets some significant changes for the 2023 model year. The truck’s modified platform allows for a slight wheelbase increase, plus additional trims and packages are available. Three engines have been replaced; now the Colorado can be powered by three variants of Chevrolet’s 2.7-litre inline-four engine. Other changes for the Colorado include an all-new interior, a modern infotainment system, and more comfort and convenience features to take advantage of.
